Classy Class returns to stakes action in Saturday's Tom Fool H. (G3)

Wednesday, March 7, 2018

Cheyenne Stables' graded stakes winner Classy Class will make his first black type start since July when he goes postward in the $200,000 Tom Fool H. (G3) March 10 at Aqueduct.

Classy Class, who won the Salvator Mile (G3) last June at Monmouth, took most of the last half of 2017 off, then returned on December 30 and has tallied a pair of close seconds in allowance tests at Aqueduct.

The six-furlong Tom Fool drew a field of ten older males, with Classy Class in post two and assigned 117 pounds, including jockey Joe Rocco, Jr. Classy Class earned his lifetime-best Beyer Speed Figure of 100 when he won going 6 1/2-furlongs at Aqueduct nearly one year ago.

The Tom Fool is race 9 on Saturday, with a scheduled post time of 5:12 p.m. ET.
